This slide deck introduces a mobile app concept called Micl (short for MicroLearning and pronounced “Michael”).
The app was conceived as a mobile authoring tool for educators and learning developers who want to create microlearning lessons on the go.
Microlearning lessons are short instructional units that can be completed by the learner in just a few minutes. Micl’s intended output is tappable web stories—think Instagram stories with added interactivity and built-in assessments.
This project was developed as part of my graduate coursework in learning theory, which focuses on understanding how people learn, process, and recall information.
